METHOD OF VODKA "KAZNACHEISKAYA" PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: liqueur and vodka industry. SUBSTANCE: water is softened and mixed with rectified ethyl alcohol "LUX". Succinic acid in the amount of 0.09-0.15 kg and sodium hydrocarbonate in the amount of 0.18-0.3 kg per 1000 dal are dissolved in softened water separately. Solutions are mixed, and mixture is kept for 30-40 min, filtered and filtrate is added to aqueous-alcoholic liquid. The latter is purified with activated carbon and fed into finishing tank where fructose solution is added in the amount of 2.8-3.2 kg per 1000 dal. Ready vodka is stirred, filtered finally and fed to pouring. Addition of components at indicated amounts at the definite stages of technological process, i. e. a mixture of succinic acid and sodium hydrocarbonate as kept filtrate at indicated ratio to an aqueous-alcoholic liquid and fructose to ready vodka promotes to decrease the content of organic compounds (fusel oil, methanol) that cause alcohol withdrawal syndrome.
