FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: strain is obtained by breeding strains YF-135 and 5D-P3016. For producing cellular mass of the strain-producer HBs Ag two-stage of culturing schedule is used. At the first stage cells are revived and biomass is accumulated. The strain Y-1678 has no the latent phase of the growth and cells begin to divide immediately after sowing. Double time of cells is 1.5 h and specific rate of the growth has a value μ = 0.48 h. The stationary phase of the growth occurs after 8-10 h at maximal yield of cells 2.4 x 10-8 cells/ml while in the process of culturing the known strains the synthesis stage HBs Ag has significant time. The use of the proposed strain ensures to decrease culturing period an average by 10 h due to increase of cell amount and the more intensified synthesis of HBs Ag. Invention can be used for production of preparations for diagnosis and prophylaxis of hepatitis B.
