FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermal-insulating component is intended for use in guarding structures of quick-to-erect buildings and other objects. It can be also used in function of thermal-insulating components in structures which protect from radiation when their quick installation is needed. Thermal-insulating component has at least two parallel faces of body made from thermal-insulating material. Located inside body is framework. Protruding beyond limits of thermal-insulating material are fixing members for fixing to structural members of building or other objects. Body is made with end-faces. At least part of them located in secant plane normal to its face surfaces is located at angle which is larger or less than 90 deg at least with respect to external face surface of body. Fixing members can be installed in working position when fastening them on components of guarding or framework of building or other structure respectively at angles which are less than or larger than 90 deg with respect to face surface of body turned towards internal volume of building or other structure. Application of thermal-insulating components ensures more reliable joining of thermal-insulating components to each other and with structural components of building or other objects, it provides for higher thermal-insulating and waterproofing characteristics of guarding due to reduced air and moisture permeability of butt joints because of tighter contact of thermal-insulating components to each other and to load-bearing components of building or other object.
