FIELD: digital information processing, high definition TV systems. SUBSTANCE: high definition TV signal is represented by packet data flow as sequence of data fields with alternating data transmission rate since different types of intervals with additional data without user information have different duration. Each data field is accompanied with additional field synchronization component, which is followed by 312 packet data components, each of which has respective information about direct error correction. Transmitter of transport processor generates data packets with respective headers and provides continuous transmission with constant data flow rate. Said packet data flow is transmitted into unit which generates sequential data fields by means of insertion additional information without data into data flow. Goal of invention is achieved by transmission of data from transport processor into respective interface/buffer unit in response to character clock signal 3/8 and by preset level of buffer filling. Corresponding transport processor/decoder operates together with data field processor and provides continuous processing of data which are fed at constant uniform rate. EFFECT: data are stored at uniform rate and are described at alternating rate without need for converting initial data field structure according to requirements of field data generator. 18 cl, 34 dwg
