SUBSTANCE: device designed to ensure synchronization of intermediate-level signal such as transport level or compressed multilayer video signal multiplex level has on coding end of system device for invoking time stamp registration such as number of pulses from modulo K counter and for giving time difference to stamp that may be corrected during passage through respective (such as multiplexing) circuits while signal is conveyed through these circuits. On receiving end of system counter responds to signal from adjustable receiving synchronizer and certain number of pulses are selected in this counter upon arrival of time stamps brought to transport level. Time stamps and time difference stamps are extracted from signal and combined to shape corrected time stamp. Difference in sequentially selected quantities of pulses shown on receiver counter are compared with values between respective sequences of corrected time stamps to yield signal controlling sync signal of receiver.
