FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; deploying photoelectric panels on space objects into working position. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, pleated panels of solar battery are provided with deployable mast in form of truss made from flexible profiles wound on drums. Truss includes folding sections made in form of parallel rectangular frames interconnected by means of these profiles and bracing struts and provided with locks. Edges of adjacent panels are connected with frames of respective sections of truss. Outer of first panel is articulated with base of transport container and outer of last panel is connected with its cover. After deploying the truss and shifting the bracing struts from transportation position to working position, locks operate rigidly connecting the frames with profiles. EFFECT: increased bearing capacity of mast; reduced overall dimensions of device in transport position. 2 cl, 5 dwg
