FIELD: heat-insulation materials. SUBSTANCE: processing of non-metallic raw materials into porous heat-insulation materials for building industry and for use as filtering materials consists in that in blend containing, wt %: SiO2 39.78-53.7, CaO 39.95-51.45, Al2O3 3.37-5.76, Fe2O3 0.05-0.8, MgO 0.4-1.21, SO3 0.26-0.32, Na2O 0.04-0.37, and K2O 0.1-0.53 content of CaO is adjusted to SiO2/CaO ratio 0.70-1.0 and carbon level to 1% , after which blend is melted in reductive medium. Silicate part of melt is then cooled in thermal impact mode (casting into water). EFFECT: extended range of foaming compositions from non-metallic raw materials. 2 cl, 4 ex
