FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: charge, based on siliceous rocks is prepared and a ratio SiO2/CaO is brought to 0.75-1.04. The charge is melted at a temperature of 1500-1550°C, with the further content of components, wt %: SiO2 - 40.1-47, CaO - 44.9-53.2, Al2O3 - 2-15, MgO - 0.8-4, Fe2O3 - 0.2-5, Na2O - 0.6-1.5, K2O - 0.6-1.5, TiO2 - 0.2-1.5, SO3 - 0.01-0.3.
EFFECT: reduction of the charge melting temperature and time.
