FIELD: generation of qualitative and quantitative measurements of geological structures. SUBSTANCE: system corresponding to present invention employs tool for geological investigation of hole by method of nuclear magnetic resonance and for imparting section of geological formation with polarizing magnetic field in the course of certain time period specified in advance. Then signals of nuclear magnetic resonance from excited nuclei in geological formation are detected to obtain data for computation of number of important petrophysical parameters including porosity, saturation with minimal bound water and minimal full volume of formation water. EFFECT: improved reliability of information related to geological structures and obtained by methods of nuclear magnetic resonance. 2 cl, 33 dwg
