FIELD: high- power lasers. SUBSTANCE: laser discharge chamber has two pre- ionization electrodes in the form of two parallel planes. Symmetry plane of chamber is parallel to pre-ionization electrodes. Main-discharge electrodes are made in the form of tubes perpendicular to gas flow at inlet and outlet of discharge chamber. Optical resonator has its axis parallel to plane of pre-ionization electrodes and perpendicular to main-discharge electrodes. The latter are shifted in different sides from symmetry plane of chamber through at least half the diameter of optical-resonator light beam. EFFECT: reduced size of laser. 1 dwg
