FIELD: electronics, in particular, binary adders. SUBSTANCE: generators of carry detection signals use 2AND-2AND-2OR gates. Generators of carry transmission signals use 2OR-2OR-2AND gates. Goal of invention is also achieved by design of output element and its connections, which provide generation of signals for detection and transmission of carry by respective generators using state of two pairs of bits of numbers to be added. EFFECT: increased bit length without increase in number of stages in critical carry signal transmission circuit, which adversely affects device speed. 2 cl, 3 dwg
