FIELD: medicine, particularly, neurosurgery and traumatology. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for provision of fixation of transplant in skull defect after trepanation of skull and replacement of defects; it may also be used in veterinary science. The device has two handles intersecting on axle with lock and two branches bent on rib. One branch has depression on working surface, while the other, has through channel at end. Working surface of branch with depression has groove which is communicated with depression and directed from it to branch side surface towards handle. Depth of groove is reduced in this direction. Channel of depression and groove communicating with depression are made for conduction of flexible bent loop of ligature thread guide. EFFECT: exclusion of brain injury in conduction of guide and legatures through bored thin canals in bone near skull defect and associated complications. 4 dwg
