FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing radiopaque device in the area of the hip joint and introducing wires through it from the subtrochanteric area, performing X-ray examination of the hip joint and selecting the direction for introducing the fixing member. A line is drawn through a wire on the direct X-ray picture under the greater trochanter eminence after determining the upper point for introducing the wire until it touches the internal cortical head layer. Another line is drawn through the contact point above the internal cortical head layer until it intersects lateral bone surface. Angle of approaching straight linear radiopaque device members is formed based on the lines drawn. The device is set on the skin on the marked upper point in the subtrochanteric area and on the marked femur median. Guiding lines are drawn along the straight linear device members. The device is taken off. The wires are transcutaneously introduced into the bone along the guiding lines. Sector showing direction for introducing the fixing member is formed between wire ends protruding above the skin. The device has two rectilinear members and transversely arranged members provided with metric scale divisions. The rectilinear members are joined on the working end of the device to enable angle between them to be varied. The members are movably joined with rectangular member on the opposite end in transverse mode and to each other due to fixing members of its upper and lower members as well as due to bloodless attachment to body skin in the given position.
