FIELD: analyzing transient processes in mechanical, electromechanical, and electric systems. SUBSTANCE: method used for constructing mathematical model of sophisticated mechanical or electromechanical system with distributed parameters depends on exciting vibrating system with harmonic action within its inherent frequencies and recording amplitude-phase response of kinematic parameter under measurement. Characteristic frequencies corresponding to extremums of true and imaginary components of kinematic parameter are recorded for each degree of freedom of system. These frequencies are used to calculate time constants and gain factors. Novelty is that integral of vibrating-system output signal is used as kinematic parameter and transfer function of system is presented as integral of the sum of transfer functions of vibrating sections. Method provides for eliminating random error of zero mean value. EFFECT: improved accuracy in determining time constant of dynamic system. 2 dwg
