FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is used in vacuum ecologically clean equipment. Grooves of 1.0-1.5 mm wide and 1.5-2.0 mm high spaced at 2-3 mm are made on one friction surface, and metal lubricating coating is applied on it. Coating consists of low-melting metal with low elasticity of steam and capability of groove surface wetting. The coating is heated to liquid state. Gallium, for example, is used as low-melting metal. The method ensures higher reliability of friction pair operation with reduced friction coefficient and wear. EFFECT: improved ecology of production process. 2 cl, 1 dwg
