FIELD: hydrometallurgical processing of uranium raw material. SUBSTANCE: uranium ore is subjected to crushing and wet grinding, thus obtaining pulp which is divided in two flows: one flow is equal to 35-75% of mass of raw material to be processed; this flow is subjected to acid treatment at pH equal to 2.0-4.2 for leaching iron; then flows are combined and iron extracted into solution is oxidized by oxygen; then acid and additional oxidants Mn(IY) and/or Fe(III) are introduced in combined pulp for making uranium pass into solution maintaining pH of leached pulp between 1.5 and 2.5. EFFECT: reduced cost of uranium recovery due to reduced expenses for reagents. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 3 tbl, 1 ex
