FIELD: agriculture and forestry. SUBSTANCE: working tool has two similar knives, which acquire the form of hollow hemisphere, when they are closed. Bases of knives are rigidly connected with two parallel shafts mounted within casing. Two gears are mounted on shafts in opposed relation and connected with other gears, with toothed rack being positioned between other gears. Toothed rack is rigidly connected with hydraulic cylinder stem fixed on casing. Working tool allows seedling to be dug together with ground ball without damaging seedling rootage. Such construction facilitates sufficient adaptability of seedling on new place. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and simplified construction. 4 dwg
