FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has horizontal housing with side air intake holes. Housing contains sprinkler, which is designed as cellular air channels with walls which have grid or perforated structure and oriented along air flow movement. Output of spray valves 9 is directed towards upper plane of sprinkler. They are located under cap of housing and are connected through holes in cap to water distribution system, which is located on external side of cap. Air supply into water cooling tower is provided by fan through air distribution funnel. Special air exhaust funnel is mounted at angle of 15-35 on housing side, which is opposite to fan. Air exhaust funnel is designed as case, in which ratio of area of output section to area of air channels of sprinkler within range of 0.5-1.0. In addition air exhaust pipe contains water absorber. Water tray with outtake is located under sprinkler. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities.
