FIELD: investigation of processes of formation of clusters and winning of clusters of metals and alloys in supersonic nozzle of gas dynamic plasma plant. SUBSTANCE: given process employs supersonic flat nozzle with holes in its walls arranged at angle of 30-40 degrees to form supersonic flow. Clusters are selected from supersonic flow with the aid of rotary intake with substrate by way of turning of flow into holes of intake in rarefaction wave. Device for implementation of process has flat nozzle and intakes of clusters with substrate mounted in side walls of nozzle outside of it. Axes of intakes are located in one plane. Each intake is manufactured in the form of hollow cylinder with holes along generating line. Number of rows of holes is equal to number of holes in side walls of nozzle. Axes of holes in walls of nozzle are arranged at angle of 30- 40 degrees with respect to axis of flow. Substrates are installed in holes of cylinder. Intakes are positioned in sealed chambers. Invention makes it feasible to conduct programmed selection of clusters from any zone of supersonic flow simultaneously in several points where processes of condensation and formation of clusters without their decay to individual molecules and coagulation in fractional structures take place.
