FIELD: analyzing metal or alloy clusters obtained in plasma-gas dynamic facility. SUBSTANCE: device has flat nozzle and clusters intake with V- shaped backing provided with slit on pointed end. Device is equipped with intake catcher and intake feeder. Intake catcher is installed on one of nozzle side walls; backing is mounted against pointed end of intake in a spaced relation. Backing surfaces are parallel to intake ones. Clusters of metals or other materials can be sampled by means of device from any area of supersonic nozzle under analysis, that is, where clusters are condensing and originating, without their disintegration and coagulation.
