FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device may be used at machine-building and instrument-making plants for final machining of blanks by grinding. Device has base and upper plate with appliance for blank attachment. Upper plate is coupled with moving assembly. It is essentially thermal element and moving and stationary wedges. Plate is lifted along cylindrical guides with springs mounted inside. Springs are designed to take up backlashes and to return system to initial position. guides are provided with seals and clearance into which oil is supplied under pressure from hydraulic system of machine. Presence of oil in clearance prevents dry friction in guides and spasmodic movement of plate with blank. EFFECT: improved quality of machining. 3 dwg
