FIELD: mechanical engineering, instrument engineering, devices for accurate feeding the workpieces in grinding. SUBSTANCE: device contains base, heating member and enclosure for protecting the device. Device for fixing the workpiece is mounted on the heating member which is made of housing rigidly secured to the base. Heating and cooling systems of the heating member are presented by thermoelectric heater which heat the housing and by fluid flow which cool it. EFFECT: enhanced quality of the workpiece surface to be grounded due to providing uniform high- accuracy motion of the workpiece by means of the heating member. 2 dwg
