FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-propelled trackless vehicles designed for high- speed carriage of passengers and loads. Invention contains description of design and method of control of such vehicles. Proposed vehicle has main wheel arranged one after the other in gauge, and additional wheels mounted at sides and furnished with retraction mechanisms. Vehicle can turn with heeling like two-wheel motorcycle. Balance weight shifted by driver in direction of turning is used to provide heeling at negotiating a turn. Invention contains also description of additional version with aerodynamic controls, and version of vehicle for use as trainer for obtaining the habits of aircraft control.
