FIELD: liquid and gas flowmeters. SUBSTANCE: generator forming vibration of jet between 22, 23 of -shaped chamber 8 created in obstacle 16 placed in path of jet has facility for successive increase of pressure by each side of obstacle. Increase of pressure is formed in the vicinity of frontal part of obstacle in agreement with vibration of jet. Mentioned facility includes two main conduits 11, 12 made in walls 22, 23. Conduits are positioned in symmetry relative to longitudinal symmetry plane of generator inclined towards it. Inlets 42, 43 of these conduits are located near points of stop of jet. Flowmeter incorporating above-described generator for measurement of frequency of vibration of jet can use transducers 2, 25 of velocity of flow passing through conduits or pressure transducers 50, 52. EFFECT: generator provides stable vibrations of jet even at low velocities of flow. 16 cl, 9 dwg
