FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves creating grain flow in the form of falling rain; supplying aerosol flow of propionic acid in countercurrency to grain flow; exposing grain flow particles to electrostatic charges of opposite potential; preserving and removing grain from contact zone. Chitosan is solved in propionic acid prior to transformation of this acid into aerosol state to intensify film formation on each grain and reduce biological activity of grain. Such method is used for effective preservation of freshly harvested grain prior to laying it for prolonged storage. EFFECT: simplified method, improved quality of grain and increased grain storage life.
