FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves cleaning grain from contaminants; solving chitosan in propionic acid and processing propionic acid to aerosol state; treating grain with flow of propionic acid in aerosol state. Treatment of grain with propionic acid, containing chitosan, prior to laying of grain for prolonged storage allow target biochemical changes to occur in grain. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for prolonged storage life.
