FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing transverse cervicotomy 4-5 cm above the jugular notch. The tumor is resected. Tracheostoma is applied through inferior skin flap of the operation wound. Radiation therapy is carried out after healing the operation wound. The inferior skin flap is fixed with two ligatures. The ligatures are brought through the inferior flap, neck muscles, and trachea cartilages and tightened after placing tracheostomy tube into the trachea. EFFECT: sealed tracheostomy opening; tracheostoma isolated from cervicotomy wound; accelerated coalescence; reduced risk of purulent complications. 2 cl
