FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has body comprising locking member designed as cusps. Distal part of lateral surface of each cusp has a recess having base. The base intersects with the distal part of lateral surface. The recess has lateral surface. The base is flat. It is arranged in a way that diametric plane of lateral cusp surface being perpendicular to the base is arranged at an angle to cusp rotation axis. The lateral surface has lines of intersection with the distal part of lateral cusp surface and with surface turned towards direct blood circulation flow intersecting at a point located some distance far from cusp rotation axis.

EFFECT: reduced risk of thrombus formation; increased operation reliability.
