FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has fixed member designed as ring-shaped casing having external surface for mounted a cuff thereon and internal surface. Movable member has one or two flaps. Each flap has lateral, ascending and descending surfaces. Two thickenings are available on opposite faces of each flap on the descending surface side. A canal having tangentially directed exit is produced in each flap or casing for letting restricted returning blood flow through. The flaps are connected to the ring-shaped casing by means of rotation means of hinge type designed as ring-shaped protrusion on the casing surface and notches on the flaps or as a ring-shaped groove on the casing and protrusions on the flaps. An additional degree of freedom is given to the flaps as forced and guaranteed rotation about the central axis of the casing as a result of excessive blood pressure from prosthesis exit side when the flaps are closed. In doing so, the restricted returning blood flow exiting from the canal first whirls blood volume at the entrance to the valve prosthesis and then, the rotating blood volume causes flaps rotating about casing axis.
EFFECT: improved thromboresistance properties of heart valve; no stagnation zones; high reliability and long service life.
