FIELD: physics. SUBSTANCE: device has plasma chamber with compartments, which provide plasma acceleration and braking and comprise coaxial inner and output electrodes. In addition device has initial magnetic source and main electromagnetic power source. Ring space between electrodes of acceleration compartment is designed as converging-diverging nozzle. Braking compartment is designed as ring space between electrodes, which are designed as continuation of electrodes of acceleration electrodes. In addition, plasma chamber has second plasma acceleration compartment, which is located behind plasma braking compartment, as well axial conducting member, which is connected to outer electrode on side of second acceleration compartment and is insulated from inner electrode. Main source of electromagnetic power is connected to axial conducting member and outer electrode on side of first acceleration compartment. Source of initial power is inserted in gap of outer electrode above plasma braking compartment. EFFECT: increased plasma temperature, increased neutron radiation level. 1 dwg
