SUBSTANCE: device has main electromagnetic energy source, initial magnetic field source, and plasma chamber formed by coaxial electrodes; chamber has plasma acceleration compartment and its deceleration compartment; main source of electromagnetic field is connected to acceleration compartment electrodes; annular gap between acceleration compartment electrodes is made in the form of converging-diverging nozzle; deceleration compartment is, essentially, annular gap between extensions of plasma acceleration compartment electrodes; plasma chamber is provided, in addition, with second plasma acceleration compartment symmetrical to first one and arranged downstream of deceleration compartment; annular gap between electrodes of second acceleration compartment is also made in the form of converging-diverging nozzle; initial magnetic field source is connected to electrodes of second acceleration compartment.
