SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engines with compression ratio changed by displacement of head, timing phases changed to suit compression ratio and engine speed with valve timing mechanism playing the part of mechanical booster and forced cooling fan. Cylinder, bushing and spool nested one into the other are provided with radial holes. Ports of bushing and spool are profiled. Changing of position of bushing port middle section relative to middle section of cylinder ports provides phases corresponding to preset compression ratio, and changing of position of spool ports relative to bushing ports provides phases corresponding to preset speed. Rotation of spool provides intake- exhaust and scavenging and end face blade of spool, provides delivery of air into combustion chambers and ensures air cooling of engine.
