FIELD: lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed autoemission light source includes nanocrystalline autoemission cathode and screen connected to power supply source, grid drawing electrons being placed between autocathode and screen. Screen is made in the form of dielectric substrate with luminophor layer deposited on it. Luminophor screen can have same potential as grid has. Aluminum film can be laid above layer of luminophor. Grid drawing electrons and screen are connected to voltage sources. Problem of adhesion of luminophor coat in proposed autoemission light source is corrected which makes it possible to develop reliable autoemission light source of high brilliance that can be used in lighting devices, traffic lights, elements of information panels, displays.
