FIELD: SHF technologies. SUBSTANCE: proposal specifically refers to elements of lines for transmission of SHF energy. In more narrow application invention is related to SHF adapter designed to connect output device of magnetron to coaxial path channeling SHF energy to driver of electrode-free SHF gaseous-discharge lamp, to working chamber of microwave oven or to any other SHF load characterized by high reflection factor and considerable changes of it and phase. Adapter has input and output and external conductor contacting pressing flange and lead-out of energy of magnetron across input of adapter. Internal surface of external conductor across input of adapter has at least one azimuthally closed section with length li located along axis of adapter that has diameter Di, values of length and diameter being selected from given relations. Choke coming in the form of at least one annular groove whose depth is chosen from given relations is made across output of adapter. EFFECT: design of small-sized SHF adapter with simultaneous provision of stable high-reliability operation of magnetron carrying various mismatched loads, fulfilled requirements for limitation of levels of spurious radiation and harmonics. 3 dwg
