METHOD OF TUBERCULOSIS ANATOXIN PREPARING Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing biopreparations used for specific prophylaxis of tuberculosis in animals. Method involves detoxification of endotoxin of cultural fluid with formalin, its sorption on aluminium hydroxide, evaporation of inactive part of anatoxin and sterilization. Cultural fluid of avirulent strain of mycobacterium BCG is used as an endotoxin. Aluminium hydroxide gel is added in the amount 1.9-2 mg/1 ml. Then vacuum evaporation of 60-65% of inactive part of anatoxin is carried out. The end obtained product has concentration of aluminium hydroxide 4 mg/ml, not above, and antigenic activity 190 000-200 000 T.U./ml.
