FIELD: electrohydraulic machining of parts from technological deposits. SUBSTANCE: process is related to alumina production and deals with cleaning of plates of Alpha-Laval company from alumosilicate and ferric deposits. Electrohydraulic cleaning of flexible laminated parts is conducted in the following way: parts are laid in container, positive and negative electrodes are placed close to surface of part, container is submerged in working liquid and is subjected to action of high-voltage electric discharge in liquid with simultaneous displacement of positive electrode relative to surface of part. Metal gauze with cell size h x h is used in the capacity of negative electrode which is positioned at distance l from surface of part. In this case size h x h is chosen from relationships: h=(5-10)h = (5-10)σ, l=(2-8)l = (2-8)σ, where σ is thickness of machined part. Frequency of 50 Hz is used for action with electric discharges. Gear for implementation of process of electrohydraulic cleaning of flexible laminated parts includes tank with working liquid, container, positive and negative electrodes connected to pulse current generator, unit for displacement of positive electrode. Negative electrode is made in the form of metal gauze attached to frame positioned above container and linked to it with the use of hinge on one side and fixing attachment of the other side. Container is provided with elastic spacer. EFFECT: high degree of cleaning of parts with absence of residual deformation and burns on cleaned surface. 2 cl, 3 dwg
