FIELD: peptide chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dimers of "clover" peptides containing their solitary domains in the form of clover leaf and so constituting human or rat ITF or human or rat pS2. Peptide is present in dimer form, in which two identical monomers are linked by disulfide bond between two cysteine residues. Molecular weight of peptide is close to 13000. Appropriate host cells transformed by DNA encoding human or rat ITF or pS2 are cultured and dimer form is separated from monomer one. Pharmaceutical composition includes "clover" peptide and pharmaceutically acceptable diluent. "Clover" peptide dimer forms are used for preparing drugs useful for healing gastrointestinal way mucosa injuries, e.g. peptic ulcer.
