FIELD: dairy and feed-mill industry, particularly, production of biphydogenic fodder additive. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing carbohydrate-protein fodder additive for ruminant animals involves heating of lactose-containing raw material up to 65-75 C; introduction of calcium hydroxide up to pH equalling 10.5-11.5 and thermostatic control of mixture during 15-25 min with the following neutralization of sour. Then carbamide in the amount of 1-5% of mixture mass together with calcium hydroxide are introduced. Carbamide enriches the additive by nonprotein nitrogen and stimulates reaction of isomerization of lactose in lactulose - biphydogenic factor. EFFECT: increased biological value of prepared product. 3 ex
