FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers specifically to rotary current collector devices using molten metal in the capacity of intermediate contact. Proposed current collector unit can be employed for transmission of electric signals in wide power range. It has mobile electrode, shaft and immobile electrode manufactured in the form of ring and ducts with molten metal. In agreement with invention T-shaped insulation bushing carrying mobile electrode is put on shaft. Immobile electrode connected with one end to contact socket is mounted on outer surface of bushing. Mobile electrode is connected with one end to contact pin. Insulation bushing has ducts whose axes are arranged tangentially to its inner diameter. Ducts house in addition springy elements with point of touch of each of them with outer surface of mobile electrode and anchored in immobile electrode. Mobile electrode is also produced in the form of ring. N units rigidly intercoupled over insulation bushings with immobile electrodes are placed in sequence on shaft and are interconnected over T-shaped insulation bushings with mobile electrodes and shaft. EFFECT: increased operational reliability of contact, prolonged service life and expanded functional capabilities of current collector unit. 4 cl, 2 dwg
