FIELD: railway transport; mechanization of track repair works. SUBSTANCE: device has running gear with running wheels and with rail tearoff mechanism power cylinder mounted on running gear frame. Rail tearoff mechanism is driven in vertical plane by power cylinder and is provided with rail grips and beams thrusting against ties. Rail grips of rail tearoff mechanism are made in form of grip levers operated by power cylinder and coupled with frame-mounted lifting power cylinder. Beams thrusting against ties are made in form of supports laid along rail and coupled with power cylinders mounted on frame. Rail tearoff mechanism is furnished additionally with special device to press spikes to rails. Rail tearoff mechanism is located between running wheels. Its travel in vertical plane is within the limits of tolerable elastic deformations of rails. Spike extractor is arranged after rail tearoff mechanism beyond the limits of running wheels. EFFECT: provision of effective and reliable separation of rails from ties within the limits of tolerable deformation of rails. 3 cl, 8 dwg
