FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and, in particular, to mechanization of track facilities which can be used in maintenance and repair of rail tracks. Proposed device contains running gear for movement along track rails with fitted on nut drivers, each provided with reduction gear with two spindles with socket wrenches set into rotation by common drive and installed for vertical displacement. Shafts of spindles are freely fitted in reduction gear housing and loaded by springs relative to freely fitted drive gears on spindle shafts. Each spindle is mounted for turning relative to corresponding gear through angle limited by retainers, one of which is located of drive gear, and the other, on spindle. Angles of free turning of each spindle are different for acceleration of drive to beginning of transmission of rotation to each spindle in turn. EFFECT: increased capacity of device and use of minimum power drive under spare starting conditions. 7 dwg
