FIELD: small arms ammunition. SUBSTANCE: the bullet has a metal envelope with a blind bottom accommodating a slug installed in the head and partially central sections of the envelope, striker, explosive charge and a primer cap. The explosive charge and the primer cap are heat- insulated from the envelope. The bullet is provided with a filler and gasket of a solid material placed in the envelope between the front side of the filler and the rear side of the slug, the striker is fastened on the blind bottom of the envelope, the primer cap is fastened on a wall of a stronger material than lead fastened on the envelope on the rear side of the filler, the explosive charge fills the area between the rear wall of the filler and the envelope bottom, and the rear part of the envelope in the area of arrangement of the explosive is made thicker as compared with the front part of the envelope.
