FIELD: ammunition for small arms. SUBSTANCE: the bullet has a metal envelope that is stronger than lead, which accommodates a steel slug secured with its back side to a spacer of hard material, whose other side carries a lead filling occupying the whole rear and partially central regions of the envelope up to the spacer. A cavity passing from the spacer of hard material is made in the lead filling on the side of its back end surface. EFFECT: enhanced armor-piercing effect of the bullet. 6 cl, 1 dwg
