FIELD: high-intensity pulse-controlled magnetic fields; generation of short magnetic-field pulses. SUBSTANCE: peaker has pulse-operated electromagnet, load, and screen that separates electromagnet from load and is made of material whose conductivity in initial state is at least 10 ((Ohm/cm)-1) and reduces by at least 16 times under effect of pulse-controlled magnetic field; screen is made in the form of set of rods or plates. EFFECT: reduced pulse front due to its peaking. 1 dwg
