Abstract RU 2169544 C1

FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has carcass for being introduced into blood vessel or hollow organ lumen. The carcass is plate with slits made from flexible biocompatible material and turned as cylinder with variable diameter changeable when being introduced through a tube or delivering catheter. The slits are made as a set of cell rows, each cell shaped as composition of two broken lines symmetrically arranged with respect to the longitudinal cell symmetry axis. Middle part of the broken lines is semicircular. Extreme points of quarter of circle and middle semicircle are connected with rectilinear members making an acute angle relative to the longitudinal cell symmetry axis when compressed. When released, rectilinear member makes the same acute angle as in the compression case with longitudinal carcass symmetry axis due to rectilinear member rotating about extreme point of quarter of circle. The center of semicircles is located on the axis or close to the longitudinal cell symmetry axis under compression.
