FIELD: metallurgy, highly effective plant for making continuously cast deformed billets. SUBSTANCE: plant includes casting vessel and straight-flow nozzle arranged in working cavity of mold. In upper part of widened portion of mold there is slit type opening whose width is related with diameter of nozzle opening by next relation: /- =1.1 -1.3. Depth H1 of nozzle arrangement in mold is related with depth H of slit type opening arrangement by relation H1/H=0.2-0.4. Axis of slit type opening is inclined by angle γ relative to horizontal line crossing with vertical axis of outlet of nozzle opening. Inert gas is supplied from slit type opening for spraying metal with velocity ωg related with mass of gas mg mass of cast metal mm metal level Hm in nozzle and in casting vessel by relation: Hood with central opening and with two branch pipes closes at lateral sides working cavity of mold. First pair of vertical walls of mold may perform reciprocation motion; thermocouples are arranged on said walls in different levels.
