FIELD: mechanical engineering, grinding of workpieces made from plastic adhesion-active materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes feeding of the cutting fluid through a nozzle to the gap between the working wheel surface and the converter and setting the latter in oscillation. The converter is made of a resonance plate fixed to the axles inside the housing at a distance 0.1-0.2 mm from the working surface of the grinding wheel. The converter is excited by feeding of fluid through the nozzle to the plate under the pressure of 0.5-1.5 MPa. The nozzle is arranged so that the planes of symmetry of the nozzle and plate would be coincident at a given distance determined from the relationship available. The oscillation of the plate induces cavitation in the fluid favorable to the efficient hydraulic cleaning of its working surface. EFFECT: improved method. 3 dwg
