FIELD: systems of sewage treatment with the use of activated sludge, applicable for removal of sludge from the bottom of the reservoir of a horizontal settler into a sludge pit. SUBSTANCE: the sludge scraper has a scraper and a means for its movement. The scraper is installed on a tubular support. The scraper movement means is made in the form of a pair of carriages provided with a drive. Each carriage has a carriage made for turning through at least 180 deg. in parallel with the reservoir bottom. The tubular support of the scraper is secured at the same time on two rotary axles of the parallel arranged carriages for spontaneous disengagement at a stop of one of the carriages.
