FIELD: public services; sewage treatment systems with the use of activated sludge. SUBSTANCE: settler includes rectangular reservoir, four pairs of trolleys with scrapers secured on them and trolley drive. Sludge pit is provided in bottom of reservoir. Two upper guides are mounted in upper portion of reservoir in parallel with extended walls of reservoir. Two lower guides are mounted in bottom. Each pair of guides is embraced by endless chain vertical plane. Each scraper is secured on tubular support between pair of trolleys. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of settler. 7 cl, 2 dwg
