FIELD: machine engineering, namely working curvilinear-profile parts for strengthening them by surface plastic deforming. SUBSTANCE: method comprises use of ultrasonic oscillations modulated by sine signal for working parts by surface plastic deforming. It does not cause sharp change of signal amplitude that is why uniformly changed residual stresses are created in surface layer. Reduced attenuation factor of sine signal provides increased deformation degree of worked part. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method. 2 dwg
